Dr. Christman is a 1996 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and is the owner of Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic. While she started her veterinary career at a large animal practice where she took care of horses and all types of farm animals, Dr. Christman opened the doors at Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic in 2001 and hasn't looked back since. Carla loves Madison with it's the eclectic people and never ending list of things to do out on the town.

Dr. Christman works closely with several animal rescue groups and greatly enjoys being able to help animals in need. At home you would often find Dr. Christman out in her garden or just being outside enjoying a warm summer day. Exercise and Doctor Who are some of her two greatest passions. She also shares her home with a very large and varied group of critters: Including two dogs, five cats, three ferrets and six, yes six guinea pigs! Dr. Christman's personal passion for small mammals is why Healthy Pet has become a premier facility in the care of small mammal pets.
Dr. Oxley graduated from the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Prior, she received her BS in Biology/Zoology with a minor in music (flute) from UW-Platteville, her hometown. Dr. Oxley has lived in Madison since 1995 and has been an associate with Healthy Pet since 2008.
Dr. Oxley's professional interests include: Canine and Feline Behavior, Stress-Free Veterinary Medicine, Alternative Therapies and Pain Management, Client Education, and expanding her knowledge of Small Mammals.

When she is not at the clinic, Dr. Oxley enjoys many outdoor activities year-round with her husband Aaron and her standard poodle, Rogue. She enjoys trail running, hiking, backpacking, skiing and skijoring, and kayaking/canoeing. She has traveled with Aaron to many amazing locations such as several countries in Europe, Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, Peru, and Spain. Mr. Rugby, the big boy kitty, keeps everything and everyone in balance while she is at home and away.
Dr. Roberts is a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.
Before entering the veterinary profession, Dr. Roberts received her B.S. in Zoology, also from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a native Madisonian and has been practicing in the area since her graduation.
Working at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital early in her career sparked her interest in surgery, anesthesia and pain management. Other professional interests include geriatrics, endocrine diseases, oral health and alternative therapies.
Outside the clinic Dr. Roberts enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She is an avid triathlete and participates in a variety of sports and outdoor activities. They share their home with a 3-legged dog named Tripp and a 'cool cat' named Smoker Jones.
Dr. Megan Humphrey graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences/Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2010. She practiced at a small animal clinic in west central Wisconsin for a couple years before returning to Madison and joining the team at Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic in 2018. Dr. Humphrey is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA).
When not at the clinic, Dr. Humphrey enjoys spending time with her husband Paul, young son Grover, and their pets – Lilo the Labrador retriever, Jazz the cat, and the guinea pigs – Piglet and Izzie.
Mike started working for Healthy Pet in 2012 and has a long work history in varying management positions with different size businesses. Mike brings a diverse range of experiences from past work as a volunteer firefighter/EMT, police and fire dispatcher and as the General Manager of a restaurant in Madison.
Since joining Healthy Pet, Mike has overseen the move into new clinic space in 2014, the transition to paper-free medical records, expansion of business hours and the hiring of our fourth associate veterinarian as a means to accommodate the clinic's growth in revenue of almost 60% since 2012.
When Mike is not at work, he spends time with his better half, Dr. Christman and their small petting zoo of pets at home. Recently he's been bitten by the RV'ing bug and loves to spend weekends visiting campgrounds all over Wisconsin with Dr. Christman and their two dogs Cassidy and Buddy.
Renee has been with Healthy Pet since 2016 and loves interacting with all our clients and their pets! She currently lives in Stoughton with her husband Mike, their two cats Gus and Ivan, and two dogs Jay and Mona.
Renee has been working with all types of animals professionally for 12 years and have loved animals as long as she can remember. Besides working at Healthy Pet, Renee has fostered for several local rescue groups and currently volunteer for a wildlife rehabilitation group.
Emmy joined Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2017. Emmy has a stubborn yet handsome long hair Chihuahua, named Chimi. She began working in Customer Service in 2016 after serving 4 years in the United States Military. Enjoys the relationships built with clients and their pets.
Originally from Crystal Lake, Amanda moved to Madison in 2013, and in 2014 started working at Healthy Pet. In her free time she likes being on the boat or relaxing outdoors with her family and fur babies. Her fur babies include, 1 dog, 3 cats, 1 rabbit and 4 chickens.
Carolyn has worked for Healthy Pet since January of 2018. Carolyn has loved animals since a young age and has experience working with animals such as cats and dogs, squirrels and opossums, tigers and lions, and more!
She graduated from UW-Madison in 2014 with degrees in Zoology and Conservation Biology and is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Madison College. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, playing the piano, and relaxing with her dog, Oliver.
Amber has been working for Healthy Pet since January of 2018 and is currently a four year college student attending UW Madison hoping to obtain a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Amber has been riding/showing horses for 15 years and she has three horses, five cats and one dog. In her free time she volunteers at Three Gaits Therapeutic Riding Camp and volunteer as an Occupational Therapy assistant at Pediatric Clinic.
