Dr. Christman is a 1996 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and is the owner of Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic. While she started her veterinary career at a large animal practice where she took care of horses and all types of farm animals, Dr. Christman opened the doors at Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic in 2001 and hasn't looked back since. Carla loves Madison with it's the eclectic people and never ending list of things to do out on the town.

When Dr. Christman is away from the clinic, she enjoys spending time in her garden or camping and hiking. She also shares her home with several pets: Including dogs, cats and ferrets. Dr. Christman's passion for exemplary care of small mammals and is why Healthy Pet has become a premier facility in the care of small mammal pets in the Madison area.
Dr. Jenny is a 2011 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and spent the 10 years after school living in Columbus, Ohio working both as a private practitioner and a shelter veterinarian before moving back home in 2022. Dr. Jenny started at Healthy Pet in 2022 once moving back to Madison and is so happy to have found her home at this wonderful practice.

Dr. Jenny is passionate about animal rescue and often is fostering at least one animal in her home at any given time. At home Dr. Jenny enjoys reading, computer gaming, and especially playing D&D with her friends. She enjoys spending time walking her dogs with her husband, Carl and finding new restaurants to try in the Madison area. She is a self proclaimed 'cat lady' and shares her home with several pets: Including two dogs, five cats, and a corn snake.
Amber grew up in Johnson Creek and studied in Lake Mills. Amber has many pets of her own; 4 dogs, 2 cats, 4 chinchillas, and 24 (yes, 24!) rabbits. Amber spends most of her free time outdoors doing activities such as skeet shooting and outdoor sports.
Arianna graduated from MATC and became a CVT in the summer of 2022 and began working at Healthy Pet in October. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my cat Milo.
Kelsey is one of our amazing veterinary assistants who is currently in school to become a State Certified Veterinary Technician. Kelsey grew up in Johnson Creek and has studied at UW Platteville and she is currently attending Madison College. Kelsey has gone from living in the country to life in Madison with her rambunctious dogs Cleo & Millie who she describes as 'her children'. Kelsey enjoys art, the outdoors, and hanging out with her friends.
Tia is one of the Customer Service Representatives who, if not at the front desk, you will often find petting and talking to any cat staying in the clinic for boarding.
Outside of the clinic, Tia is a UW Madison Psychology and Theatre and Drama graduate who teaches acting and voice to kids and teens at Forte Studios in Mt Horeb. In her free time, she enjoys crafting while listening to podcasts, hanging out with friends, and snuggling her cat, Artemis.
Nicole recently graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She enjoys being outside and on adventures with her dog Wolfie. Nicole also has a one eyed cat named Odin.
