We are focused on boarding for cats and small mammals. We do not provide boarding services for dogs of any size. This allows us to maintain a calm, quiet environment ideal for the pets in our care.

Unlike almost all other facilities in Madison that board small mammals, all you need to bring is your pet. We provide the enclosure, bedding, toys, and daily interaction to keep your pet happy and entertained.
Every small mammal boarder is fed high-quality Oxbow hay and pellets, plus a variety of fresh vegetables daily. During the growing season, some of those vegetables come straight from Dr. Christman's own garden!
Our staff provides each pet with daily individual attention and enrichment. You have our assurance that we will care for your pet with the same love and compassion as if they were our own.

🐈 Cat Boarding
Our cat-only boarding area is designed to keep your feline friend relaxed and comfortable. Cats staying with us have access to a spacious play area with plenty of room to lounge, climb, and explore.
Each cat is housed in a deluxe condo with up to three individual rooms (depending on booking availability). Every cat receives individual daily playtime with a member of our boarding staff and spends hours outside their condo to stretch their legs.
Just like our small mammal boarding, all cat boarding areas are clearly visible from the lobby and public areas — feel free to take a look the next time you visit!

Vaccination Requirements
To protect your pet and all our boarders, we require proof of current vaccinations
First-time boarders: Proof of current vaccinations must be provided to Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic before your pet is admitted for boarding. If proof of current vaccinations is expired or not provided at check-in, your pet will not be allowed to board.
Must be current on Rabies and Feline Distemper (FVRCP) vaccinations. Learn about feline vaccines →
Must be vaccinated against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (RHD). First dose must be given at least two weeks prior to check-in. Learn more about RHD →
Must be current on Ferret Distemper. Rabies vaccination is not required by law but is highly recommended.
Guinea pigs, rats, hedgehogs, chinchillas, and other small mammals do not require vaccinations. We highly recommend an exam within the past year to ensure your pet is healthy enough to board.
