Justin C - Justin has worked at Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic since 2004. Justin grew up in Central Illinios and has lived in the Madison area since 2001. Justin has an Associates Degree in Biology and reading is one of his favorite pastimes outside of work. Justin has a young daughter who always seems to give him lots of good stories to tell his co-workers. Justin's sense of humor always keeps everyone around him smiling and clients love his warm greetings he always provides them and their pets.
Melisa R - Melisa has worked at at Healthy Pet since 2012 and is who you will see almost any day after noon in the clinic.
Melisa was born and raised in Puerto Rico and Spanish is her first language. Melisa moved to Wisconsin in 2010 for school at Globe University to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has two rescue dogs named Turbo and Blondie. Melisa has loved animals since she was a little girl and her very first pet when she was a child was a chicken.
Crystal D - Crystal is a Certified Veterinary Technician who Graduated from Globe University in 2011. Crystal grew up on a horse farm and has been interested in the field of veterinary medicine for most of her life. Crystal loves to spend time with her children and their large family of pets of three dogs, one cat, four fish, two hedgehogs and a bearded dragon.
H" - H was born in Mauston, WI and moved to Madison in January of 2008. H attended Madison Area Technical College and graduated in May of 2015 as a Certified Veterinary Technician and started working for Healthy Pet in July of 2015. At home, H has a small zoo consisting of a cat, hermit crabs, rats and crested geckos. H enjoys watching movies and playing board games with her friends in her free time.
Renee B - Renee is currently our receptionist that works during the morning most weekdays. She has been in the animal care field for over 10 years and loves being able to meet clients and their pets. Renee is a Wisconsin native and graduated from UW Stevens Point in 2006. Before working for Healthy Pet, Renee worked with captive animals in a zoo setting. Renee owns several pets and fosters for several animal rescue organizations in the Madison area.
Brian A - Brian is an undergraduate student at UW-Madison pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. He has many scaly pets including a turtle, a python, a lizard and an assortment of fish. In his free time he enjoys playing bass guitar in a band, sailing and riding his bike.
When our team of compassionate, and highly qualified veterinary staff members aren't at the clinic, they are most likely showering their own pets at home with lots of affection, as well as making sure their buddies are the healthiest they can be. Our practice believes in treating each patient as if they were our own beloved companion, and our passion is to prevent suffering through education, preventive care, and the evaluation of all options.
If you're really lucky, you may get to see Dr. Christman's boxer Cassidy. She's pretty much the clinic mascot. She embodies the quirkiness of the entire staff.
